Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Verdant Insurance Solutions (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Company”). By accessing or using our website at verdantinsurance.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

1. Services Provided

1.1 Insurance Agency Services

Verdant Insurance Solutions is an independent insurance agency licensed to sell life insurance and health insurance products in the state of Louisiana. We provide:

  • Insurance consultation and needs assessment
  • Insurance product education and comparison
  • Quote services from multiple insurance carriers
  • Enrollment assistance for health and life insurance
  • Ongoing policy service and support
  • Claims assistance

1.2 Nature of Services

We are insurance agents/brokers, not insurance carriers. We represent multiple insurance companies and help clients compare options and enroll in coverage. We do not underwrite insurance policies, make coverage decisions, or pay insurance claims. Those functions are performed by the insurance companies whose products we sell.

1.3 No Guarantee of Coverage

While we assist with insurance applications, we cannot guarantee that any applicant will be approved for coverage or approved at a specific rate. Insurance companies make all underwriting and approval decisions based on their own criteria.

3. Information You Provide

3.1 Accuracy of Information

When requesting insurance quotes or submitting applications through our Site, you agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information. Providing false or misleading information may:

  • Result in denial of coverage

  • Changes in circumstances

3.3 Insurance Applications

You should consult with appropriate licensed professionals (financial advisors, attorneys, accountants, physicians) regarding your specific circumstances before making insurance or financial decisions.

7.3 Insurance Information Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date insurance information, but:

  • Insurance products, regulations, and prices change frequently
  • Information may become outdated between updates
  • Specific policy terms vary by carrier and jurisdiction
  • Individual circumstances affect coverage and costs

Always review actual policy documents and confirm details with insurance carriers before purchasing coverage.

7.4 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERDANT INSURANCE SOLUTIONS, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

7.5 State Law Variations

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable state law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Verdant Insurance Solutions, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:

9. Insurance-Specific Terms

9.1 Licensing

Verdant Insurance Solutions and its agents are licensed by the Louisiana Department of Insurance to sell life insurance and health insurance products. Our license numbers are available upon request and on our website footer.

We only provide insurance services in jurisdictions where we are properly licensed. If you reside outside Louisiana, we will refer you to appropriate licensed agents in your state.

9.2 Compensation Disclosure

We receive compensation from insurance companies for policies sold. This compensation may vary by product and carrier but does not affect your premiumโ€”you pay the same price whether you purchase directly from the carrier or through our agency.

We strive to provide objective guidance regardless of compensation levels, but you should be aware that commissions may influence product recommendations.

9.3 Carrier Relationships

We represent multiple insurance carriers but do not represent ALL carriers in the market. We work with carriers we believe offer quality products and competitive pricing, but other options may exist that we do not offer.

9.4 ACA Marketplace Services

For ACA (Affordable Care Act) marketplace enrollment assistance, we are certified by the federally-facilitated marketplace to provide enrollment support. This service is free to consumersโ€”we are compensated by insurance carriers, not by you.

9.5 Policy Ownership

When you purchase insurance through our agency, YOU are the policyholder. The insurance company issues the policy directly to you. We serve as your agent/broker but do not own or control your policy.

11.5 Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, any dispute resolution proceedings shall be conducted on an individual basis only and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
